UFC 266 MAIN EVENT:
VOLKANOVSKI VS. ORTEGA
(FEATHERWEIGHT TITLE)

After defeating Max Holloway by decision twice Alexander Volkanovski makes his second title defense against former title hopeful Brian Ortega. The two were to fight earlier in the year but the champion tested positive for Covid 19 and the bout was postponed. Since then the two have been seen week after week coaching opposing teams on the return season of “The Ultimate Fighter” where they have began a bit of a Rivalry and dislike for one another. The champ remains unbeaten in UFC action while Ortega carries only one loss, that being to the former champion Max Holloway.
