HISTORY

Founded in 2008 by CEO and Chairman Bjorn Rebney the company began focusing on Tournaments w/ a $100,000 award to the winner. By 2014 Rebney was relieved of his position, and it was taken over by former Strikeforce president Scott Coker. Soon after the change the tournament format w/ dropped for a more traditional monthly event schedule. The organization has been shown on CBS Sports, Showtime and the app DAZN. Currently its events are sitting in the 250’s. The promotion has spawned successful fighters including Eddie Alverez and Ben Askren. Patricio “Pitbull” Freire is the companies longest sitting champion holding the featherweight title for over 1,400 days and successfully defending it 5 times. The company has built fighters as well as been a home for former UFC fighters such as Gegard Mousasi, Ryan Bader, Rory MacDonald, Lyoto Machida, Phil Davis, Corey Anderson and recent signings Anthony Johnson and Yoel Romero.
