WRAP UP:
Season 4 was the first season that featured no proper coaches in a team vs. team format. Guest coaches would be in charge throughout the season. It was also the first season that featured veteran fighters instead of new comers trying to break into the UFC, these fighters had already been a part of the organization and were looking for a second chance. The winner was granted an immediate title shot in their designated division. Matt Serra earned the title shot in the Welterweight division making the absolute most of the chance by defeated then Welterweight champion George’s St. Pierre by way of First round TKO. The bout was one of the biggest upsets in the history of UFC Title fights and remains so until this day. GSP would regain his title in Matt’s first defense. Travis Lutter on the other hand shit the bed as they say by winning the show and then proceeding to miss weight in his title fight against Anderson Silva, thereby making him ineligible to win the title.
