This season was focused heavily on the coaches especially Conor McGregor. There was numerous incidents w/ McGregor including him calling Faber’s assistant Coach T.J. Dillashaw a “Snake in the Grass” for betraying Faber and his team alpha male. Cody Garbrandt, another assistant coach shoved McGregor after a heated exchange between the coaches. The season came down to Submission expert Ryan Hall (who was previously eliminated but gifted a slot in the finales when original finalist Saul Rogers was disqualified when they found out he falsified information on his visa application) and Conor teammate Artem Lobov. Hall defeated lobov by way of Unanimous Decision to win the season. The finale saw a coming out party for lightweight Tony Ferguson who submitted Edson Barboza on his way to 2 fight bonus’s.
