SEASON 31: TEAM MCGREGOR VS. TEAM CHANDLER

The Ultimate Fighter has needed a spark to get it back on track after a few lower rated seasons in a row. It will get that spark when the sports biggest Superstar Conor McGregor returns to coach for a second time. This time he’ll coach against fan favorite and former Bellator Champion Michael Chandler. The two will coach against each other for 12 weeks of the show and then face off in a Pay Per View Main event yet to be announced…
Conor McGregor is looking for his first win since the beginning of January 2020 when he defeated Donald Cerrone in under 2 minutes in a welterweight bout. He’s currently riding a 2 fight losing streak both bouts to top five Lightweight Dustin Poirier. One was a knockout lost, the first of his career and the most recent bout was a TKO due to injury as he shattered his leg at the end of the first round of the trilogy bout. He’s looking to come back in a big way and coaching his second time on TUF is just what he is looking for.
Michael Chandler is coming off a loss to Dustin Poirier w/ his UFC career being a back and forth affair including wins over Dan Hooker and Tony Ferguson and losses to Oliviera, Poirier and Gaethje. He’s been calling for a money fight w/ McGregor since his first bout in the organization. He is finally getting his bout along w/ a 3 month coaching stint opposite of Conor.
