WRAP UP:
Season 7 saw the return of Season 1 winner Forrest Griffin in a coaching roll against then light heavyweight champion Rampage Jackson. The season didn’t spawn to much talent in the way of longevity in the UFC. Winner Amir Sodallah only lasted 11 fights while the real pioneer of the season was Matt Brown. Brown spent years upon years in the UFC w/ over 20 professional fights in the organization on his resume. Wins over Diego Sanchez and Stephen Thompson under his belt he had the most successful career post TUF for this season. Matt Riddle would go on to have a very successful career in the WWE, in fact as of this writing he holds the WWE U.S. Title and will defend it at Wrestlemania. Matt Brown is nearing 30 fights in his UFC Contract and by far has made the walk more than anyone on this season. Dustin Hazelett collected two bonus’s in the finale w/ Fight of the Night & Submission of the Night.
