The First Blog:

This is the inaugural blog for The MMA IQ Report. My goal is to roughly explain the idea behind this page and what you’ll find on it. First and foremost I’ve scoured the internet and seen the majority of MMA Websites and frankly there are a lot of good ones out there with wall to wall information. Sites focused on news, on stats and some on what’s coming up. I have seen some sites that are just completely full of information. I intend to make it a tad more fun. I want to have all the info, all the stats, all the news and be interactive. I want this page to be the most fun and informative page on the net. As the page grows we can be more interactive w/ post fight analysis and live blogs during events. I’d love to start doing interviews as well.

At the current time I’m composing all the stats I can come up with. All sorts of fun things to keep you busy. I’d like you to take a break from Tik Tok and spend some time researching w/ this website. Naturally I understand that spending four hours on a page can be read and researched in 5 minutes, but that’s ok because I am willing to put in the time. My intention is to be the most dedicated MMA writer. I know i have some stiff competition w/ guys like Ariel Helwani, a guy I admire and would love to work with some day. I guess what I’m saying is along w/ providing you the most comprehensive website on the web, I’d love to move in the direction of being an on air reporter for UFC. That’s my dream. I don’t need to be Joe Rogan but Nick Meyers would do just fine.

So what exactly will you find on this page? Upcoming events, done in a fresh way of course. Stats, upon stats. Even things you never thought of like How many titles have changed hands on events w/ 3 title fights. This page has in depth Pay Per View stats, as well as all the useful info from past pay per views. Naturally you’ll find news as up to the date as possible. Current champs including the days they’ve been champ. Not just UFC and bellator champs but One Championship, BKFC and more. Links to less well known organizations. Check out our Pay Per View kings page where we document the king of the PPV and in depth information as far back as UFC 1 up to the most recent event. We also have our own rankings that we base on performance rather than star power. If a champ loses 3 times in a row he does not magically remain in the top 5.

This is not a job to me, nor a hobby but a way of life. Its what makes me happy. I could sit and work on informing the masses 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. When i wake up I can’t wait to check twitter to see the latest news and share it w/ all of you. Eventually I want to skip twitter and be able to just tell you what the latest news is. Breaking News, fight announcements and new rankings. This is just the info I came up with off the top of my head, I’ll update this and fulfill this blog in the next few days. By the way this blog will be the most humanized section on this site. I’ll blog about everything and anything. Maybe I’ll post a full page on the latest fight announcement or the upcoming pay per view. More to the point I’ll be blogging thoughts and idea’s that hopefully you the reader can relate to and enjoy.

This is Nick, Signing off for now…
